Asterix and the Irreducible are definitely never where you expect them to be!
The adventures of Asterix and Obelix, created by two genius authors — René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo —, is much more than a simple parody of History. Behind the Ancient world of Asterix hides a subtle and gently mocking look at the world we live in, including, surprise surprise, the economy, with its strengths and its flaws. Because Asterix, the irreducible Gaul, is necessarily, like all of us and without knowing it, a player in economic life.
With this exhibition, Citéco, Europe’s first interactive museum dedicated to economics, invites you to take a closer look at the albums of this immense success and to discover, through the pages and panels, many economic themes in a fun way through games, films, sensory devices, digital applications and other quizzes.
Enjoy your trip to the economy, by Toutatis!
