The Museums Association (MA) Annual Conference and Exhibition is a major annual event held by the Museums Association in the UK where museum professionals gather for 3 days of talks, seminars and exhibits. This year’s conference will be hosted by Subhadra Das, historian and curator at UCL Culture as well as a comedian and current Art Fund Headley fellow.
The theme for this year’s Museums Association Annual Conference & Exhibition is Sustainable and Ethical Museums in a Globalised World.
Key sessions related to travelling exhibitions include:
  • Sustainable exhibitions: a practical guide: this session  with The Sustainable Exhibitions for Museums Group will explore how exhibition programming can be developed in a more sustainable manner.
  • Can travelling exhibitions be part of a sustainable museum policy?: this session, with Agnes Ruiz, Director of Sales, Europe and Middle East, Imagine Exhibitions and Emily Cronin, Partnerships Manager, Cultural and Commercial Partnerships, Science Museum Group, will question how travelling exhibitions can integrate ethics and sustainability policies.
