Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library in London that aims to challenge how we think and feel about health. Through exhibitions, collections, live programming, touring, digital, broadcast and publishing, we create opportunities for people to think deeply about the connections between science, medicine, life and art.We are part of Wellcome, a global charitable foundation that exists to improve health for everyone by helping great ideas to thrive. We support researchers, we take on big health challenges, we campaign for better science, and we help everyone get involved with science and health research.We create thought-provoking, innovative and beautifully designed exhibitions that tackle the subject of health from different perspectives. They cover scientific and cultural subjects and feature material from historical objects to contemporary artworks. Our programme is typically aimed at audiences aged 14+, but we are committed to accessibility for all. We are keen to work with inventive partners, large and small, from museums, art galleries and science centres to community centres, libraries and universities, across the UK and internationally. We are open to new ideas and different ways of working to explore themes of health and what it means to be human.
