Botticelli Experience Claimed

Sandro Botticelli is without any question the undisputed genius of the Florentine Renaissance, the artist whose work embodies more than any other’s the spirit of humanism that informed that great season in the history of man. The ambitious aim of this exhibition is not only to celebrate the beauty of Botticelli’s art, but also to introduce visitors to the lively artistic scene of Florence, capital of the late fifteenth-century Renaissance. 

Synchronised with a powerful soundtrack, multimedia spaces and large images come together to create an electrifying setting filling giant screens, walls and scenographic environments, totally immersing the visitor in the colours, figurations and intense details that are the outstanding features of Botticelli’s unique style. Immersed in multisensory environments animated through video projections, multimedia walls, light boxes and immersive rooms, the public is led on a journey through time and space, alongside Botticelli and his contemporaries against the backdrop of the magnificent city of Florence.
