Caravaggio: Beyond the Canvas is a theatrical and cinematic journey
through the life of Caravaggio. Four pivotal moments in Caravaggio’s
life will be experienced within individually-themed environments,
immersing visitors into the world, the emotions, the tragedies, and the
life of Caravaggio. During this 45-minute experience, visitors will enter
the artist’s world through theatrical reconstruction, narrations, video
projections, and sensory elements.
Meet Caravaggio through the stories of his friends, relatives, lovers
and enemies, and witness him from new perspectives: passion to
pain, disappointment to success, rage to satisfaction, arrogance to
generosity, and from the paintings to the painter.
