Description
The oldest murder: Ötzi the Iceman is the oldest known, best-preserved and most studied wet mummy in the world. Since his discovery in 1991, Ötzi has been exciting subject of countless news reports, scientific publications and documentaries. The exhibition Ötzi the Iceman — Crack the Cold Case sheds light on his life and death.
The interactive discovery of the Ötzi mummy: Visitors are invited to piece together how this crime unfolded, compare the different theories on the Iceman and eventually solve the world’s oldest murder mystery.
The exhibition’s thematic design evoking different settings, such as the find site or a forensic laboratory, numerous interactives, films, holograms, radio features, 3Danimations, augmented reality and hands-on elements take visitors 5500 years in time and place.
