The exhibition “THE HUMAN GENOME. What makes us unique” conceived and displayed at the Science Museum MUSE located in Trento (Italy), tackles questions profoundly affecting us all that are related to important and promising biological research. Why are all people different? Where do they get their talents? Why do some people age better than others? Why does life have a biological limit and how can we prevent illnesses?
Genomics is a science in continuous evolution that also raises ethical questions and doubts. “The Human Genome” invites to a real journey through the new challenges offered by genomics, focusing on the opportunities and risks involved in applying the new breakthroughs in sensitive areas, such as health. Created in collaboration with Contemporanea Progetti.
