Based on the great success of the digital exhibition Van Gogh Shadow, created by the Luca Agnani Studio, this innovative exhibition reconstructs a selection of 10 of Vincent Van Gogh’s masterpieces in 3D animation and video mapping. Starting from a careful study of the shadows in Van Gogh’s artworks, each painting comes alive by simulating the natural flow of light and time from day to night.
After an introductory section on Van Gogh’s life and artistic career, 10 separate videos displayed on high resolution digital screens, provide an opportunity to observe the paintings from new points of view, creating extraordinary narrations behind each subject.
Through ultra-modern multimedia techniques fused in a spectacular and compelling 3D animation, this unique experience is emotionally infused with the impression of being truly inside the artworks of this undisputable 19th-century artistic genius, stimulating the imagination of visitors as they acquire deeper appreciation for the Van Gogh masterpieces.
