Pablo Picasso with his inimitable style, no greater talent from the last century, offered such rapid varied well-considered strokes of genius.
No other artist is as skilled experimenting with so many varied techniques. Picasso lives on, like a skeleton lurking below his living works of art. Pablo Picasso is Lord of the 20th century.
Picasso took drew on his predecessors’ work and in turn influenced his contemporaries. Ever curious he was inspired by the works, people, and world around him – taking these stimuli to create his sublime works of art.
The 120 pieces shown here look at his etched work. Including some of his very first works such as the Suite des Saltibanques with typically bold strokes show stilt-walkers leaping from melancholy to joy, and the Le Chef-dʼœuvre inconnu, with his intimate reflection on the art of portrait, as well as the almost weightless aquatints of his Tauromaquia and the Sable Mouvant where his lines turn to brushstrokes, with the irreverent technique and narrative of the Le Cocu Magnifique and the lithographic colour of Dans l’Atelier de Picasso and his Barcelona Suite.

Is possible to add 50 ceramics to the exhibition together with other printed works and original and contemporary photographs by Robert Capa.
The exhibition tells the story of the genius through graphic works, photos and ceramics that testify to the artist’s versatility.
