Amgueddfa Cymru exhibitions are on the move! You will support the strategic aims of Amgueddfa Cymru by managing exhibitions delivered with partners at our museums and in the community, with touring/partner venues across Wales, and with international venues, in the following ways:
- Support the Head of Exhibitions and International Touring in developing and managing a programme of partner, community, and touring exhibitions.
- Manage work with partners and communities to produce and co-produce engaging exhibitions or experiences at Amgueddfa Cymru sites or in the community.
- Manage the development and delivery of exhibitions at partner venues across Wales. Including, for example, managing the partnership with Oriel y Parc and Wrexham Museum.
- Support the development and delivery of a new national and international touring exhibition programme to increase audience reach and provide the opportunity for income generation.
- High-quality and inspiring exhibitions and experiences that reflect the diversity of our communities, celebrate creativity, and inspire visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
- Inclusive, relevant, and thought-provoking exhibitions, which explore why art, science, and history matter in society, and our role in supporting people’s cultural rights, learning, health and well-being.
- Exhibitions developed and presented through the medium of Welsh and English, which encourage and support Welsh language learners as appropriate.
- Effective tours of Amgueddfa Cymru exhibitions to venues in Wales, UK, and internationally.
- Effective methods for embedding digital experiences both within and beyond the physical exhibitions.
- High-quality international touring exhibitions, recognizing Wales’s national collection and Amgueddfa Cymru’s quality of work across the world.
- An established network of partnerships and venues.
- Increased opportunities for developing our audience reach, reputation, and income generation.
- Cost-effective management and control of projects, ensuring best practice at all times.
- High-quality, evidence-based reports and evaluation, as appropriate, to investment stakeholders, Senior Management and the Head of Exhibitions and International Touring.

Appointment will normally be to the minimum of the salary scale for this grade. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
