National Museums Scotland touring exhibition Body Beautiful: Diversity on the Catwalk has last-minute availability in summer 2020.
The exhibition is believed to be the first of its kind in the world. It examines how the fashion industry is embracing inclusivity and body positivity, exploring themes such as size, gender, age, race and disability. Each section represents the voice of key influencers in the industry, from casting directors to models, stylists and editors. The exhibition includes 26 garments from a variety of private lenders and designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Pam Hogg, Dries Van Noten, Max Mara and more. Specially commissioned films and interviews accompany the garments.
