Teo’s first event, Teo Live - Touring Exhibitions Trends & Marketplace, which took place on 25 March 2021, welcomed more than 270 participants from over 50 countries for a 2 hour catch up on international travelling exhibitions.

The new online Teo event, designed to support the international touring exhibitions community, welcomed professionals involved in the hosting and touring of cultural exhibitions, from museums, galleries, science centres, libraries, exhibition venues, aquariums and event organisations.

The event featured a keynote presentation on the future of touring exhibitions, presenting the findings of Culture Connect’s first Cultural Dialogue Survey developed in collaboration with Teo.

Following the keynote exchange, a marketplace of exhibitions welcomed more than 20 producers who introduced international travelling exhibitions in 2 minute presentations.

The event was designed to be interactive and after the Live session, everyone in the audience had the possibility to meet with presenters for informal discussions in individual dedicated break out rooms.

The replay of the event is now available and all the presenters can be contacted directly from the Teo Live page.

The Teo team thanks very sincerely all the attendees for participating in Teo Live and contributing to making it a very lively event.

The Teo team also thanks the speakers who contributed to the event, Anais Aguerre and Otone Doi from Culture Connect for the keynote, and for the presentations, all the speakers from Philharmonie de Paris- Musée de la Musique, Science Museum Group, PAN Art Connections, Imagine Exhibitions, Contemporanea Progetti, Natural History Museum, National Museums Scotland, Nomad Exhibitions, MuseumsPartner, Flying Fish, Mobiles Musik Museum, Tempora, Science North, Barbican International Enterprises, SPL Lascaux international exhibiton, American Museum of Natural History, Expona, Universcience, National Geographic, Way Experience, iMUCHA production, Museum d’Histoire Naturelle de Toulouse, and lililillilil.
