Description
Immersive Shevchenko: Soul of Ukraine, has an international level of significance for Ukraine. The goal of this exhibit is to combine Ukrainian traditions and modern technology, to rethink and present the work of Ukrainian genius Taras Shevchenko in a new and interesting format.
Taras Shevchenko has created more than 1,000 works, of which about 278 paintings are considered to be lost forever. Taisia Poda the creative director of Immersive Shevchenko: Soul of Ukraine analyzed about 800 high-quality scanned copies of Taras Shevchenko’s works and chose a series of paintings that tell an interesting and heartfelt story. The multimedia content of the exhibit consists of over 200 individual paintings by Taras Shevchenko. All of this is made possible with the use of immersive technologies.
The musical composition of the exhibition, which accompanies the visuals for the fullness of emotions deserves some special attention. Composer Timur Polyansky created an original musical arrangement for the exhibit consisting of musical compositions that inspired Shevchenko himself. It is the combination of these two emotional elements that truly show the soul of Ukraine.
