The exhibition “TUTANKHAMUN – His Tomb and His Treasures” presents, in an educational and entertaining way, the historic moment and history of the discovery of the grave goods of the young Pharaoh in a monumental show that uses around 1,000 replicas. “Virtual archaeology” awaits the visitors: The exhibition offers the first ever opportunity to view a three-dimensional scale model of the tomb in its original context. Clear, scientifically backed graphics and a multilingual audio guide designed in the form of a radio play explain the profound meaning of the grave goods in the context of the Ancient Egyptian belief in the afterlife.
