Located on the banks of the River Seine, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, the musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac aims to promote the Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, at the crossroads of multiple cultural, religious and historical influences. As a space for scientific and artistic dialog, the museum offers a cultural program of exhibits, performances, lectures, workshops and screenings.
The Touring Exhibitions Coordinator will be in charge of the travelling, in France and internationally, of the touring exhibitions of the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac Museum. He/she will be the main point of contact for the host museums, for all operations related to the touring of the exhibtiions. He/She will assist the deputy director of cultural development and head of the international development for the promotion and will take part in the development of partnerships contracts. He/She will also have opportunities to be involved in other projects across the organisation.
The mission will be performed in close collaboration with the team of the hosting institution, the exhibition curator, the registrars, the conservation department of the museum and the suppliers and partners involved in operations, including the transport and mountmaking partners.
