The production of the exhibition has received the sponsorship of the L'Oreal Group and the content has been created in partnership with the Public Establishment in charge of the cathedral's reconstruction and restoration.
HistoPad reconstitutions have been produced in collaboration with eight Scientific Committees, each composed of experts in the periods studied, guarantors of the historical rigour of the work performed. At least 35 meetings of these experts were necessary to produce the content of “Notre-Dame de Paris, the Augmented Exhibition”.

Using an interactive tablet, the HistoPad, visitors begin their journey at the time of the Cathedral foundation. They go through its finest hours, reliving historical events such as Napoleon’s coronation, the holy relics’ arrival, and its genius architectural restoration in the 19th century. A great part of the exhibition is dedicated to today’s workers enlisted in the cause of the cathedral’s rebirth.
