Museum Victoria’s Air Playground offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore and interact with one of Earth’s most amazing invisible realms – air.  

Step into a world of fun and discovery to explore the science of aerodynamics through experimental play: float objects in mid-air, release material in a fast-flowing airstream and launch your own paper plane design. 

This vibrant, hands-on exhibition captivates young minds and science lovers alike, with 10 interactive exhibits unravelling the mysteries of the atmosphere. Engage your senses, spark your curiosity and let science blow you away!

The Air Playground offering includes:

- Up to 10 exhibits (14 physical interactives)
- 2 foyer inflatables, 1 title wall inflatable (optional)
- 10 free-standing exhibit didactics
- Digital files for title wall graphics, optional ‘air fact’ graphics and decorative ‘shape library’ graphics
- Exhibition Toolkit and Ops & Maintenance Guide, including install, design and operations information
- Marketing kit, including a style guide and selection of approved assets and images for promotional purposes
- Spare sets of exhibit props
- Teachers Education Guide, adaptable for relevant Curriculum
- Museums Victoria staff expertise, including assistance with a floor plan if required
- Onsite support for installation and deinstallation
- Training of Borrower staff for operation and maintenance

Freight:
- Return freight 2x 40ft shipping containers (or inbound only if there is a proceeding venue booked)

Venue requirements:
- Space 400-550m2 (can be scaled down further upon request)
- Minimum ceiling height of 4m recommended for ‘Squish’ exhibit and entry inflatables
- Ceiling and floor-based power required
