Keynote - Economic models in international touring exhibitions
The 2026 keynote session will focus on economic models in international touring exhibitions and address a key question: Can productions on tour be a source of revenue for producers and hosts?
Tom Cummins, Director of Exhibits at Science World, a major science centre institution based in Vancouver, and Cédric Moulart, Head of Touring Exhibitions at Tempora, a leading European exhibition organiser, will share their perspectives on economic models and the future of touring productions as resources for cultural organisations, drawing on their extensive experience of making, touring and hosting international exhibitions.
The session will be convened by Agnès Bertocci-Ruiz, international touring specialist and Director of Sales at the American Museum of Natural History.

Tom's multidisciplinary background, spanning film, museums, and themed entertainment, shapes his approach to designing meaningful cultural experiences and building pathways for long-term organizational resilience.
Cédric Moulart
Cedric Moulart is the Head of Touring Exhibitions at Tempora, a Brussels-based agency specialized in designing exhibitions and managing cultural sites. He coordinates the international travel of Tempora’s diverse portfolio, working to bring history, art and science narratives to audiences across the globe. He manages these schedules by integrating a mix of in-house productions and exhibitions from external partners, ensuring a dynamic offering for each site. At Tempora, Cedric focuses on the practical and financial sustainability of touring productions. His role involves building partnerships that ensure high-quality experiences remain viable for both the producer and the host.
