Teo sustainability statement

Teo is committed to fostering and contributing to sustainability in touring exhibitions with the following areas of reflection, action and collaboration.

Aspiring to become a sustainability resource

Teo strives to be the leading resource that contributes to enhancing sustainability for organisations and professionals of the travelling exhibitions ecosystem. Teo will strive to do so by offering sustainability resources, supporting exhibitions that are sustainably produced and/or themed, as well as by fostering an international community all the while limiting international travel.

Teo aims to become an agora where dialogue, initiatives and the sharing of best practices in touring exhibition sustainability matters are supported. The platform aims to help raise awareness about key challenges in exhibitions and foster the sharing of solutions and opportunities to improve our collective impact.

Teo supports international exhibitions designed to build awareness of sustainability matters with audiences. Sustainability filters are proposed on Teo and communication is designed to generate specific visibility for sustainability-related projects.

Teo aims to contribute to the reduction of travelling exhibits’ carbon footprint by opening the possibility to share calls for second-hand equipment as well as posts to sell equipment used in or proposed for travelling projects on the platform.

Teo is designed with a caring approach to the international cultural and scientific community and its environment. Teo
strives to develop a sustainable platform with careful growth, sourcing and design of activities to ensure that the platform
has the most meaningful impact.
