Touring Exhibitions Museum Technician

Would you like to participate in the design, development and/or marketing of large-scale museographic projects within a renowned scientific and cultural establishment? Join our exhibitions department for a position of Touring Exhibitions Museum Technician.
As part of the dedicated team, your main tasks are as follows:
- Ensure a follow-up of the technical services of integration and maintenance on site or off site of
touring exhibitions; - Participate in duplication projects, sale of blueprints and sale of exhibition elements;
- Provide your expertise to the department in order to carry out touring projects;
- Coordinate a team of operational technicians (internal and/or subcontractors) in the context of
dismantling and touring projects (technical adaptations) for new exhibitions; - To prepare administrative documents (packing list, minutes, site report) and participate in the
production of the touring exhibition booklet; - Take charge the purchasing procedures necessary for the projects: to participate in the definition
and drafting of specifications and to ensure the administrative and legal management of the
contracts in charge.
Your profile:
Pragmatic and methodical, you have a good capacity to adapt; you have good interpersonal skills and are
able to work in a team as well as in good autonomy. Experienced in project management, you take initiatives
and make innovative proposals. A good communicator, you are comfortable speaking as well as writing. As a
team player and facilitator, you are particularly proficient in the following technical skills:
- Project management and monitoring skills,
- Knowledge of the techniques and operation of installations and the related technical requirements
(standards and regulations), - Ability to coordinate a team,
- Mastery of current office automation tools,
- Ability to manage unforeseen events and to negotiate with various external contacts,
- Mastery of a foreign language,
- Fluency in French language,
- Organizational skills and sense of initiative.
You have a university degree at master level and ideally have significant experience in the technical and/or
logistical field as well as in team coordination and management.
We are offering a permanent position based in Paris to be filled as soon as possible with a salary of between
€32k and €35k, negotiable depending on your profile, with numerous benefits (6 weeks' holiday, additional
