Event Nation is seeking funders and / or investors for an unprecedented exhibition on Islam, tracing the roots of Islamic culture from its birth, through the Golden Ages of Muslim science and discovery, then into modern times. This fully interactive, immersive, multi-media exhibition will be a ‘WORLD FIRST’ and the only exhibition that deals with this subject and content in an entertaining, light-hearted, highly informative and educational way. This exhibition will explore myths and realities that surround Islam and attempt to deconstruct myths, stereotypes and misconceptions that are often associated with it. Once the funding is in place, the exhibition will be produced and then launched in London before embarking on a five-year world tour, visiting major cities across the globe. The number one objective is to provide an educational experience for audiences, questioning perceptions and creating a new space for dialogue and understanding about Islamic history and culture. Naz Kabir, Founder and Producer at Event Nation, was part of the original team that produced and toured the globally renown, 1001 Inventions Exhibition. The show toured museums, festivals and venues around the globe for seven years following its launch at the London Science Museum in 2010. If you are interested in being part of this exciting journey from the outset and educational legacy around the world as it tours, then please get in touch with Naz Kabir – naz@eventnation.co.uk
