In the spotlight

We are very happy to welcome the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to Teo! The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is the largest museum in the United States devoted to the arts, sciences, and artists of moviemaking. Through inclusive and accessible exhibitions, screenings, programs, initiatives, and collections, the museum promotes the understanding, celebration, and preservation of cinema. Its building comprises 50,000 square feet of exhibition spaces, movie theaters, studios and public spaces.

COLOURS by MuseoScience is closing soon at the Musée de la Corderie Vallois in Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville, France. Presenting original artworks and sensory activities mixing science and art, the exhibition plunges visitors into the world of colour.

Pareidolia by Glimpse Lab will be displayed at the gallery Kiff & Maris in Paris, France. The photographer Erwan Mirabeau focusses on shapes that evoke faces or animals in the details of materials worn by time.

Elliott Erwitt : A retrospective by Tempora is currently open at the Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. The most comprehensive exhibition about Erwitt to date presents the many facets of the photographer’s personal and commissioned work.

Gladiators : Heroes of the Colosseum by Expona and Contemporanea Progetti will soon be closing at the Musée de la Civilisation in Quebec, Canada. It brings to life two intertwined stories set in Antiquity : that of the gladiators and the Colosseum.

Klimt and Gaudi, the Impossible Exists, produced by Culturespaces Studio and presented by Lightland Produções is open in São Paulo, Brazil, transporting visitors along Gaudí's undulating architectures and Klimt’s revolutionary paintings.

Two new exhibitions, Brick Masters Studio and Brick Planet, are being produced in a collaboration between Imagine Exhibitions, artist Sean Kenney and Science North. The interactive exhibits, built using Lego bricks, will explore STEAM themes.

Game On by Barbican Immersive is open at the National Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh. Taking a global perspective at gaming’s past and future, this interactive exhibition features over 150 playable games.

UK WOMEN by IKS PHOTO is closing soon at LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen in Germany. Presenting the works of 28 women photographers, it offers an insight into the evolution of photography in the United Kingdom since the 1970s.
