Genghis Khan: How the Mongols Changed the World produced by Nomad Exhibitions opens on 26 June at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK, running until 1 November. One of the most comprehensive introductions to the Mongol empire ever presented internationally, it brings together more than 240 rare objects from the 1st to the 14th centuries, including treasures that have never before left Mongolia. Developed in association with Nantes History Museum, France, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum and the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia.

Barbie®: The Exhibition by the Design Museum is now open at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow. Making its Scottish debut, the exhibition traces the design evolution of the world’s most iconic doll through more than 250 objects, from the rare 1959 'Number 1 Barbie' to fashion, vehicles, Dreamhouses and playsets spanning over six decades.

Origins. Cross Perspectives on Racism and Discrimination is now on display at the Palais de la Porte Dorée – Musée national de l’histoire de l’immigration in Paris, France until 23 August 2026. Through the work of contemporary artists and previously unseen data from the European UNDETERRED project, this new exhibition by Palais de la Porte Dorée traces the mechanisms of stigmatisation, exclusion and racism back to their origin. The exhibition will be available for international touring from September 2026.

Shokkan: Material Encounters in Japanese Art by the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is open at ROM in Toronto, Canada, until 7 September 2026. This first-of-its-kind, ROM-original exhibition explores "shokkan", the sense of touch at the heart of Japanese art, presenting over 80 objects from textiles and armour to ceramics, lacquer and contemporary works, with interactive hands-on experiences.

Imagineear is providing the multilingual audio guide for The Berlin Wall: A World Divided, produced by Musealia, now open at Union Station Kansas City (MO), USA, at the start of its North American tour. Imagineear supplies its Piccolo handheld audio guide devices and headphones, continuing a partnership with Musealia that has spanned three continents since 2015. The solution supports the storytelling of the exhibition, which tells the human stories of life on both sides of the Iron Curtain.

The Annual World Press Photo Exhibition by World Press Photo Foundation is now open at De Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, until 27 September. The world premiere of the 2026 international touring show presents the award-winning photojournalism of the 69th World Press Photo Contest, with stories from the United States, Ukraine, Nepal, Pakistan and Palestine.

Rebels + Icons: The Photography of Janette Beckman has just opened at the Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) in Seattle (WA), USA. From the raw energy of 1970s British punk to the emergence of Hip-Hop in 1980s New York, Beckman's photographs document pivotal moments in music, street culture, fashion and activism. The exhibition is available to tour from July 2027.
