Women. Between Renoir and Picasso focuses on the European women with Paris as the focus of artistic attraction, a city where a young Picasso meets again the masters and colleagues who met in Barcelona, such as Ramón Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Ricardo Canals or Manolo Hugué, all of whom are represented in the exhibition with some of their greatest paintings and sculptures.
Renoir is the great master representing the female universe in the exhibition, as well as Joaquín Sorolla, who’s centenary is commemorated in 2023 with exhibitions all over the world.
Number of artworks: up to 90. Oil paintings, watercolours, drawings, sculptures in marbre, bronze and terracotta.
