Description

As the sixth international travelling exhibition created by the award-winning Artisans of Florence, Eureka! Interactive History of Science continues our mission to spark curiosity and inspire learning through engaging, hands-on experiences. Designed especially for young audiences, this exhibition presents the fundamental principles of modern science through a historical lens, offering a fun, meaningful, and memorable journey through time.

The exhibition traces the evolution of scientific thought and innovation from the Neolithic era through the Hellenistic, Roman and Renaissance periods, culminating in the Industrial Revolution. Along the way, visitors encounter the major breakthroughs and great thinkers whose contributions laid the groundwork for modern science.

This compact yet rich exhibition features a collection of interactive exhibits and games that encourage self-guided exploration. Through tactile engagement and open-ended activities, children are invited to experiment, problem-solve, and learn in ways that are both educational and deeply enjoyable. The experience fosters curiosity and critical thinking, essential foundations for lifelong learning.

Visitors will:

â—Ź Discover the practical geometry of ancient Greece
â—Ź Explore the mechanics of simple machines
â—Ź Uncover the engineering marvels of the Roman Empire
â—Ź Marvel at the genius of da Vinci and the Renaissance
â—Ź Explore the modern age of the Industrial Revolution.

Though modest in scale, these exhibits pack significant educational value. They highlight the lasting relevance of early technologies (many of which are still in use today) and showcase the creative genius of the individuals who shaped our scientific heritage. By demystifying science through historical context, Eureka empowers young minds to see themselves as part of this ongoing human journey of discovery.

Ideal for museums, science centers, schools, libraries, and other educational venues,
Eureka! is easy to install, budget-conscious, and tailored to engage children and families
