Felines
Objecta of veneration in ancient times, felines represent a powerful mix of strength and elegance, but now also of extreme fragility: in the last 20 years their numbers have decreased considerably, so much so that 13% of wild cats are classified as endangered species with a much declining populations, and 34% are considered vulnerable. This exhibition aims to spread the knowledge about these beautiful creatures and the danger they are facing.
The specimens in the exhibition come from zoological gardens, natural parks, recovery centres where they died of natural causes, and later donated for exhibition purposes. They have all been prepared with a highly skilled taxidermy technique.
All major felines are represented in the exhibition, which will allow to see up close and personal some of the most beautiful animals in our world.
