Vacancy for Production Project Manager

As a member of the Production team, you will manage and lead technically complex touring operations in France and abroad. You will manage, organise and plan the

material, logistics, financial and human requirements for exhibition presentations. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time, on budget and to international quality standards.

Job description

You will be responsible for the following activities:

• designing and presenting large-format exhibitions by participating in design team meetings with the relevant departments, to help organise the touring of exhibitions;
• strengthen, maintain and optimise your network of relations and clients on a daily basis;
• build your project approach (definition of offer, commercial negotiation, etc.) by adapting it to the nature of the considered operation;
• analysing the client’s or prospect’s needs (feasibility, economic profitability, etc.);
• working closely with the dedicated team to help secure prospects;
• provide tailored technical information on touring exhibitions to venues;
• respond to invitations to tender for the hiring of travelling exhibitions;
• propose technical and/or logistical solutions that are relevant and appropriate to the project’s venue;
• assist the technical coordinator in technical visits and produce feasibility assessments;
• formalise the negotiation, contracting and implementation documents of the project;
• supervise preparation of operations for touring projects and coordinate the work of internal service providers and relations with external partners;
• managing, in conjunction with the logistics department, international transport and customs formalities for large-scale exhibitions travelling abroad;
• participate in the set-up and dismantling of operations from time to time, in coordination with the logistics department;
• ensure, with the dedicated team and in liaison with the client, the conformity of the proposed service;
• evaluate the whole project after its implementation (operation reviews).
