Laurent Dondey is a senior executive in the creative and cultural industries, specializing in the management of international projects in programming, co-production, and touring. He designs and delivers innovative formats, leveraging a broad network of creative talent and strategic partners, while placing communication, mediation, and knowledge transfer at the heart of his work.
He collaborates with major institutions such as Château de Versailles / Yalla Production, Grand Palais Immersif (GrandPalaisRmn / Chargeurs Museum Studio), MNHN / Expéditions Spectacles and Bpifrance, advising leaders and supporting museums and private artistic venues in the creation, production,programming and international distribution of innovative cultural content.
Former CEO of La Géode for twelve years, he oversaw IMAX film production, theater operations, and distribution, while launching new offerings including exhibitions, Géode Events, and Géode VR. He previously held senior management positions at StudioCanal (Catalog and Sales Director), Universal TV (Vice President, International Distribution), and Gaumont, where he specialized in rights management.
He has served on the boards of Gaîté Lyrique, the Giant Screen Cinema Association, and SACEM-SDRM. Holding an MBA in Finance and a DEA in Organizational Studies, he began his career in auditing and consulting at Ernst & Young and DuPont de Nemours, and was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.
