The Design Museum has worked for over 30 years to develop its international relationships and impact. It engages with countries across the globe and with the design community through a wide range of activities including its touring exhibitions programme, design residencies, and annual awards.
The Design Museum’s touring programme was set up in 2002 with the aim of bringing design exhibitions to audiences around the world. Since then, the museum has organised more than 170 tours to 137 venues in 38 countries worldwide.
