Thanks to a scenography combining projections on giant screens, theatricalized sets, and an intimate narrative at the heart of this journey around the world, the exhibition offers visitors the chance to rediscover this extraordinary odyssey in all its grandeur and dramatic power, bringing them as close as possible to the experience lived by Magellan and his crew 500 years ago.
While placing the voyage back in its historical context, the exhibition offers a new perspective, drawing on the research and visuals from the animated series Magellan’s extraordinary odyssey, written and directed by François de Riberolles, illustrated by Ugo Bienvenu, and produced by Camera Lucida and Arte.
Artistic & Scientific Teams: Brigitte Poupart (Author and director of the immersive journey), François de Riberolles (Author and director of the documentary series), Michel Chandeigne (Scientific advisor of the exhibition)
