The platform’s annual online event dedicated to international touring exhibitions welcomed professionals involved in the hosting, touring, production and promotion of cultural exhibitions worldwide, from museums, galleries, science centres, libraries, archives, gardens, zoos, exhibition venues and event organisations.
The event featured a keynote presentation on the future of touring exhibitions by Anaïs Aguerre and Otone Doi from Culture Connect, a consultancy specialising in unlocking the collaborative and international potential of the cultural sector. They presented the key findings of Culture Connect’s second Cultural Dialogue Survey on travelling exhibitions, developed in collaboration with Teo.
Following the keynote exchange, a marketplace of exhibitions welcomed more than 20 international producers who presented their latest travelling exhibitions and experiences, introducing new art, science, popular culture, natural history, world cultures, design and history productions.
The event was designed to be interactive and after the Live session, everyone in the audience had the possibility to meet with presenters for informal discussions in dedicated breakout rooms.
The replay of the event is now available and all the presenters can be contacted directly from the Teo Live page.
The full Cultural Dialogue Survey report on the Future of Touring Exhibitions will be released next week and will be available from Culture Connect and Teo’s websites.
