Keynote - the Future of Touring Exhibitions

The 2023 keynote session will focus on challenges, trends and creativity in international touring with a spotlight presentation on the future of touring exhibitions and experiences.

Anaïs Aguerre and Otone Doi from Culture Connect will unveil and discuss the findings of the Cultural Dialogue Survey on the Future of Touring Exhibitions, just carried out by Culture Connect in collaboration with Teo.

The survey was designed to hear the views of the global touring exhibitions community on how the contemporary crises we have been experiencing since the pandemic have impacted the sector, and on what new practices and trends are emerging. As our context of globalisation continues to be put into question, the survey is part of a series designed to map the appetite for cultural dialogue through touring exhibitions, started in 2021, to collectively build an understanding of important future trends and open a dialogue for thinking about and planning for the future of touring exhibitions.
